CAG Summer Party

Tour Of Marks Hall gardens

Tour Marks Hall Grounds

This years Summer Party took place on Monday the 22nd July 2013 at the Coach House, Marks Hall.

Members were given a guided walk of the walled gardens and the on-going excavations of the Jacobean and Tudor mansions.

The weather was fine, if sticky and the food and company excellent.

Our thanks to Pat, Francis and all the team for the time spent organizing the event and to Marks Hall for their hospitality.

Wormingford Lodge Plaque

The formal unveiling of a plaque and information board on Lodge Hills, Wormingford took place on Thursday 16th May 2013, followed by lunch at the nearby Crown Public House.

This concludes and commemorates CAG’s work on the site of the Tudor Hunting Lodge,  Well,  associated buildings and nearby brick kiln.
